This Privacy Policy explains how I, Sanidhya, the developer of the yt-context browser extension, collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Extension. For authentication purposes, yt-context allows you to sign in using your Google account. When you log in through Google, I may access the following information from your Google account:

This data is used solely to authenticate your account and personalize your experience with the Extension.

1.2 YouTube Video Data

The Extension may access the video data that you wish to interact with. This includes the videos you watch or the videos that yt-context interacts with based on your usage. This data is used exclusively within the scope of the Extension's functionality and for providing the features you request.

I do not access, store, or share this video data beyond what is necessary to deliver the services of the Extension.

2. How I Use Your Information

I use the information I collect in the following ways:

Authentication: To create and manage your account using Google login.
Personalization: To personalize your experience with yt-context, including using your Google name, picture, and email to display relevant information and provide a more tailored experience.
Extension Features: To enable interaction with the video data (e.g., recommendations, interactions with YouTube content) as requested by you within the yt-context Extension.

I do not store your personal data (such as Google name, picture, or email) on my servers. The data is only used within the Extension for authentication and functionality, and it is not retained for longer than necessary to provide the services.

For YouTube video data, I do not store or retain this information beyond the necessary interactions within the Extension.

The yt-context Extension uses third-party services, such as Google's OAuth service for authentication and Polar.sh as a payment provider. Deletion: You may request that I delete any data collected via the Extension. Since I do not store this data on my servers, simply discontinuing use of the Extension will result in no data being stored.
